What this source can support

Reviewed 15 August 2026 · geometry completeness 48/100 · Low

The Command Buried morphology is correct, but the SEK 121.7m base derives the shell as 900 m² / 9,688 ft² times 2 m³/m². That is an area proxy, not a dome quantity, and the WBS omits explicit excavation, backfill, waterproofing and drainage. Systems are compressed into one protection package.

Supported use

The article supports an approximately 1965 earth-covered, round/domed, two-storey concrete command centre created by excavating a hill, with 900 m² / 9,688 ft² total floor area and 50-person capacity. It identifies a roughly 100 kW generator, well-water treatment, stone and gas filters, cooling, telecommunications and an emergency exit. It gives no dome diameter, floor plate, shell thickness, concrete/rebar quantity, earthworks quantity, or historic cost.

Geometry evidence

published: 900 m² / 9,688 ft² across two floors; round domed concrete structure; hill excavated then covered with stone and soil; upper-level entrance; emergency exit; 50-person capacity | not_published: dome radius and height; footprint per floor; shell and slab thickness; concrete and reinforcement quantities; cut, backfill and drainage volumes

Systems described

approximately 100 kW diesel generator; well with filtration and softening; stone and gas air filters; cooling compressor; F70 radio and telephone exchanges; kitchen and accommodation

Primary cost drivers

dome and slab surface geometry; reinforcement and protective thickness; cut, backfill and waterproofing; protected ventilation and doors; standby power and water; escape interface

Unit / programme scope

One physical head command centre.

Revision direction

Derive dome, perimeter walls and slabs from radius/height/thickness scenarios; add cut, spoil, backfill, waterproofing and permanent drainage; split generator, ventilation/CBRN, water treatment, communications, doors and commissioning; publish only a broad archetype band until drawings are found

Missing inputs

plan/section and dome diameter; shell/slab thickness and rebar schedule; earthwork and cover profile; waterproofing/drainage design; generator and CBRN replacement specification; historic final account

Site / data issues

Hybrid Analog label is appropriate but the numerical precision remains excessive; earthworks are absent from the visible WBS; lumped protection package is not supplier-budgetable
